Tax Intern

The Tax Intern role is onsite in Bremerton, WA, with compensation of $23–$30 per hour. SingerLewak is an accounting and consulting firm serving clients since 1959. Working under the supervision of firm professionals, the intern assists with varied accounting, audit, and tax assignments. The work supports client engagements through transaction recording, account reconciliation, tax-return preparation, audit procedures, and preparation of workpapers and reports.

What you'll do

• Assist with recording ledger transactions and preparing trial balances and simple financial statements
• reconcile accounts
• compute accruals and depreciation
• assist with audit or review procedures
• help prepare payroll, sales, local, and personal income tax returns
• compile workpapers and accounting reports
• perform other assigned accounting, auditing, and tax duties.
