The Paraprofessional (Teacher Assistant) role is onsite in Harvey, IL, with compensation of $18.00–$22.50 per hour. Children’s Habilitation Center provides long-term care for infants and children and supports educational programming through its Education department. The role implements students’ Individual Education Plan programming and supports classroom learning. It helps students individually or in groups, follows teacher-designed lesson plans and classroom routines, documents daily activities, and contributes to a safe, organized learning environment.

What you'll do

• Facilitate student work and classroom routines
• implement teacher-designed lesson plans and assigned programs with students individually or in groups
• complete daily documentation and attendance
• organize classroom equipment and distribute materials
• participate in field trips, special events, education committees, cross-discipline collaboration, and quality improvement activities.
