The Dental Assistant: Hygiene and Sterilization role is onsite in York, PA, with pay of $18–$21 per hour based on experience. The assistant supports hygiene visits and sterilization so patient care proceeds smoothly and on schedule. The role helps prepare patients and clinical records, support hygienists with imaging and scans, manage visit closeout, and maintain instrument flow and operatory readiness.

What you'll do

• Bring patients back and help them feel welcome
• update medical histories and records
• take necessary X-rays according to office protocols
• capture updated iTero scans
• complete a brief pre-clinical interview for the hygienist
• take payments and review financial details
• schedule follow-up visits
• reset operatories
• maintain sterilization and instrument flow
• monitor room turnover and assist with tasks that keep the day running smoothly.

Why this role
