Patient Transportation Dispatcher

The Patient Transportation Dispatcher role is onsite at MUSC Charleston in Charleston, SC. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. What you'll do

• Provide customer service
• apply basic patient transport concepts, infection-control practices, and proper body mechanics
• direct transporters and monitor task completion
• prioritize requests according to departmental standards and patient appointments
• dispatch requests accurately and promptly
• assign, collect, and distribute pagers
• monitor sign-in and sign-out procedures
• address complaints and recommend solutions for recurring issues
• transport patients when necessary.
