Senior Quality Assurance Lead

The Senior Quality Assurance Lead role is onsite in Aurora, IL. Pay is $20 per hour. The role supports label production and works with Production, Technical, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Management to maintain quality and food safety standards. The lead helps ensure raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products meet established quality, food safety, regulatory, and customer requirements. Through audits, investigations, corrective actions, and quality-system improvements, the role supports compliance, customer satisfaction, and reduced defects and rework.

What you'll do

• Provide senior quality guidance to Production and support Quality Technicians when needed
• make or support disposition decisions for non-conforming materials and products
• determine containment, segregation, inspection, sorting, rework, or disposition
• support FSSC 22000 system maintenance and audit readiness
• plan, conduct, document, and follow up on internal audits
• support external audits
• track findings and corrective actions through closure and verify effectiveness
• investigate customer and supplier quality issues
• maintain calibration schedules and controlled QMS documents
• analyze quality trends and support continuous improvement
• guide and train employees on quality and food safety requirements.

Why this role

FSSC 22000 experience and audit participation are strongly preferred; 3–5+ years of manufacturing quality assurance experience preferred; Spanish is an asset but not required.
