Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant

The Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant role is onsite in Deerfield Beach, FL, with hours dependent on assignment and shifts available around the clock, seven days a week, based on availability. Compensation is not specified. The caregiver reports to the Staffing Coordinator and follows each client’s Plan of Care. The role provides personal care and household support that helps clients maintain a clean, safe environment and complete daily activities. Caregivers observe and report changes in client condition and provide only the medication assistance and other tasks described in the posting.

What you'll do

• Maintain a clean, safe client residence
• assist with personal hygiene, ambulation, exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, and transfers as specified in the Plan of Care
• provide nutritional support
• report changes in client condition
• assist with mobility devices and prescribed range-of-motion exercises
• measure and record vital signs and fluid intake/output when assigned
• keep care records
• assist with client self-administration of medication within the listed limits
• follow infection-control and agency policies.
