The Mental Health Treatment Counselor is an onsite role based in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This position supports the Head Start program at Lutheran Services Florida, an organization dedicated to ensuring children are safe, families are strong, and communities are vibrant. This role exists to provide early childhood mental health support to staff, children, and families. The counselor contributes to the program's mission by conducting observations, developing support plans, providing counseling services, and facilitating training to promote social-emotional development in children birth to five years old.
