The Bus Driver, Head Start role is onsite in Denton, MD. Compensation is $20.47 per hour. Maryland Rural Development Corporation's Head Start transportation service provides scheduled transportation for children to and from centers. The driver transports assigned children safely and on schedule, follows passenger safety procedures, and ensures each child is released to an authorized responsible adult. What you'll do

• Transport assigned children to and from Head Start centers safely and efficiently
• ensure passengers use seat belts or appropriate car seats
• address behavioral issues that could affect safety
• release children only to authorized responsible adults
• ensure no child is left unattended on the bus
• visually observe children's health
• collaborate with site supervisors and families to design efficient routes.
