The Flight Line Service Agent (Part-Time, A Shift) is an onsite, part-time role in Rochester, NY, paying $17.00–$23.00 per hour based on experience. The position is based at the Frederick Douglass–Greater Rochester International Airport and supports USAirports Flight Support’s full-service fixed-base operator serving general aviation. The schedule is 32 hours per week, Friday through Monday, from 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The agent provides aircraft and passenger support on the airfield, including fueling, deicing, towing, parking, and related ramp services. The work helps flight crews and passengers receive safe, timely service and keeps aircraft, equipment, and customer areas ready for operations.
What you'll do
- Refuel and deice aircraft and refuel ground-service equipment
- drive fuel trucks and ground-support vehicles
- park, tow, store, and secure aircraft and direct aircraft and vehicle movement in operating areas
- move aircraft into and out of hangars
- meet arriving and dispatch departing aircraft
- monitor fuel inventories
- provide lavatory and water service and restock supplies as requested
- provide passenger and crew shuttle service as required
- assist passengers
- maintain cleanliness and security of ramp, lounge, and parking areas
- and complete required training. The role requires a valid driver's license, airport security badge, and ability to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection customs seal.
