The Project Manager I — Capital Projects role is onsite in Miami, AZ, at the Pinto Valley Mine. Compensation is not specified. Pinto Valley is an open-pit copper mine that has operated since 1972 and is permitted through 2039. Under direct supervision, the role manages small capital and operating expense projects from planning through execution. It supports safe, on-budget, on-schedule engineering and construction work while helping the property meet its safety, production, maintenance, quality, and cost goals.

What you'll do

• Develop project charters, authorization-for-expenditure documents, scopes of work, forecasts, and safety plans
• compile cost estimates and project justifications
• coordinate engineering solutions and contractor bids
• monitor project cost, schedule, and scope
• oversee engineering and construction work for compliance with safety and technical standards
• maintain project records and document control
• report project status
• support annual budgeting and facilities maintenance improvements.

Why this role
