Buyer/Planner

The Buyer/Planner role is onsite in West Henrietta, NY. Compensation is $27–$33 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports Safran Trusted 4D’s manufacturing facility, which produces synchronization clocks and GNSS simulators for data centers and testing positioning, navigation, and timing equipment. The Buyer/Planner manages purchasing, materials requirements planning, and supplier relationships to support forecasts and production orders. The role also develops commodity strategies, supports new product introduction projects, and maintains order and delivery workflows that contribute to business objectives.

What you'll do

• Place and manage orders supporting forecasts and production
• manage supplier relationships and monitor on-time delivery, quality, and cost
• develop commodity strategies
• work cross-functionally on new product introduction projects
• maintain queues affecting order placement, acknowledgements, delivery, and part setup.
