The Cloud System Administrator role is an onsite position based in Annapolis Junction, MD. Compensation is not specified. This role supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, maintaining enterprise IT systems. The role exists to manage and maintain server infrastructure in a hybrid environment. The administrator supports the delivery and security of enterprise-wide services through system administration, troubleshooting, and security compliance.

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure in a hybrid environment (on-premises and AWS cloud).
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022) systems.
• Configure and manage core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain security-related services such as McAfee/Trelix agents and ePO, Tenable Nessus agents, and Bigfix.
• Utilize automation and scripting tools like Salt, BASH, Python, and Ansible to streamline operations.
• Support and maintain security posture by addressing IAVAs and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with other teams to design, implement, and maintain system solutions.
