What you'll do

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling center machines
• set up CNC-programmed parts, change tools, and reset offsets as needed
• load parts, prove tapes, operate controls, make simple edits, deburr, and inspect parts
• interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements
• detect out-of-tolerance machining or equipment malfunctions and report issues
• maintain clean equipment and work areas and perform basic preventive maintenance
• report blueprint-dimension discrepancies to management.
