The Medical Assistant Float role is onsite, based in Oak Park, Illinois, with daily travel to designated practice locations and possible local travel within the assigned region. The medical assistant float supports physicians and clinical teams in delivering patient care across practice locations. The role prepares patients and treatment rooms, assists with clinical procedures and records, and provides front-desk support when needed.

What you'll do

• Interview patients and gather medical histories
• update medical records
• take basic vital signs
• prepare treatment rooms and patients for examinations
• sterilize instruments and set up procedure trays
• manage medical supplies and coordinate inventory orders
• take X-rays
• perform administrative tasks and cross-train on front-desk responsibilities
• support physicians and teams with patient-care activities.

Why this role

Full-time schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM; and every other Saturday. Local travel to designated offices is required.
