Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

The Cybersecurity Systems Engineer role is hybrid onsite in Colorado Springs, CO, or Herndon, VA. Compensation is $160,000–$175,000 annually. Dark Wolf Solutions supports customer missions in a fast-paced environment and works with customer teams and external software development contractors. The engineer evaluates system and cloud architectures, assesses vulnerabilities and risks, and maintains security documentation and models. The role helps align secure system design and DevSecOps implementation with customer requirements and supports security accreditation and compliance.

What you'll do

• Evaluate information system designs, containerized applications, and cloud architecture
• conduct vulnerability assessments and architectural risk analysis
• assess software installation requests
• track security action requests
• maintain security approvals and documentation
• audit DevSecOps implementation
• develop system models and architectural diagrams using Cameo or Sparx tools.
