What you'll do

• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and warehouse activities for new product introductions, bill-of-material changes, and material quality issues
• manage purchase and work orders against MRP, availability, and demand
• expedite orders
• ensure purchase-order specifications and documentation are met
• monitor aging, delivery performance, and supplier metrics
• analyze inventory and forecast demand
• schedule shipments and negotiate pricing
• collaborate with accounting on sales-order documentation, billing, and accounts payable discrepancies
• qualify suppliers and update supply-chain procedures.
