The Neurology Physician position is based in Cooperstown, New York, primarily in an in-person outpatient clinic, with some remote tele-neurology possible. Compensation is $320,000–$400,000 per year. The physician joins Bassett Healthcare Network’s established neurology group in an academic setting serving an eight-county region. The physician will provide general and subspecialty neurology care and help develop a subspecialty program in areas such as neuromuscular medicine, seizure and epilepsy, movement disorders, or headache. The role also offers opportunities for teaching and academic appointment, with tele-neurology support from the University of Rochester.

What you'll do

• Provide specialty and general neurology care, with at least half of the anticipated time in a specialty area
• contribute to development of a neurology subspecialty program
• provide outpatient care and participate in inpatient and outpatient tele-neurology support
• teach residents and medical students when applicable.

Why this role

Very limited call, 2–4 days per month; J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available; sign-on bonus up to $150,000 and additional residency/fellowship stipend of $45,000.
