Resident Care Associate

Job overview

The Resident Care Associate role is onsite in Charlton, MA. Pay is $17–$26 per hour. The position supports Alzheimer’s and dementia residents at Overlook Masonic Health Center. The role provides individualized daily care and activities to help residents maintain safety, purpose, social engagement, and daily functioning. It also supports families and the care team through observation, communication, documentation, and implementation of each resident’s care plan.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility, and continence care
• encourage and lead individual and group activities
• support dining, snacks, and hydration
• follow care plans and resident rights
• observe and report changes in condition and concerns
• record vital signs as directed by a nurse
• assist with medication per state regulations
• respond to emergencies
• maintain accurate records and communicate with the care team and families.
