Director of Payroll

The Director of Payroll role is onsite in Brentwood, TN. Compensation is $145,000–$160,000 per year. The role provides enterprise payroll leadership for a large, complex organization and partners with HRIS, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders. The director oversees payroll operations and teams while improving accuracy, compliance, scalability, and technology. The role also supports Oracle Payroll optimization and helps shape enterprise payroll strategy and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day payroll operations and payroll teams
• serve as a payroll subject matter expert
• partner with HRIS, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders
• support Oracle Payroll after go-live through quarterly testing, enhancement requests, troubleshooting, validation, and optimization
• strengthen payroll controls, compliance, and processes across a multi-state workforce.

Why this role

Requires 10 or more years of progressive payroll leadership experience and hands-on Oracle Fusion Payroll and/or Oracle Payroll Cloud experience. Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
