The technician helps keep customer trucks safe and operational by inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults with electronic tools, completing repairs to manufacturer standards, and supporting service needs including road calls.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair truck systems using electronic diagnostic tools and laptop computers
• use hand tools
• complete repairs accurately according to supervisor instructions and OEM standards
• maintain time punches and work orders
• complete assigned OEM training
• follow parts tagging and warranty procedures
• inspect and test equipment
• CDL-certified drivers test-drive trucks
• keep work areas and customer vehicles clean
• perform road calls as needed.
