Licensed Addiction Counselor — Monday–Friday Days

What you'll do

• Complete intake assessments
• consult with unit staff on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• support inmates receiving medication-assisted treatment
• monitor treatment and documentation
• establish weekly individual and group sessions
• provide clinical direction to non-clinical staff
• coordinate referrals and continuity of care
• provide crisis intervention and direct behavioral health care
• document records electronically
• counsel inmates
• attend staff meetings and training
• maintain required credentials and CPR/BLS certification.
