What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls using the medical center’s standard greeting
• provide general information such as visiting hours and directions
• operate emergency call and alarm systems
• use audio, radio, and digital paging systems
• respond to patient and employee locator inquiries
• handle threatening or suicidal calls according to protocols
• maintain on-call personnel and essential staff schedules
• communicate with Police by two-way radio
• protect workspace and data
• report equipment malfunctions and document calls and emergency responses.
