What you'll do

• Determine food quality and quantity needs and plan master menus
• supervise therapeutic diet menu planning and food costs
• oversee food production, service programs, and departmental staff
• maintain standardized recipes
• plan menus and purchase food for special functions
• check food flavor, temperature, and appearance
• monitor residents’ nutritional status with a contract dietitian
• prepare the annual departmental budget
• inspect work and storage areas.
