Weekend Activities Aide

The Weekend Activities Aide works onsite in Claremore, Oklahoma, on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The role encourages participation, documents attendance and outcomes, communicates observations to the healthcare team, and coordinates with nursing staff and therapists to support resident engagement and care.

What you'll do

• Plan and organize activities suited to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs
• facilitate recreation, arts and crafts, games, music, and social events
• build relationships with residents and families
• assist residents with participation
• document participation and outcomes
• communicate observed changes to the healthcare team
• coordinate with nursing staff and therapists
• follow facility safety policies.
