Switchboard Operator

Job overview

The Switchboard Operator role is onsite in Freeville, NY, starting at $22 per hour. The position provides clerical support to the Human Resources Department and external agencies and clients at a residential treatment center serving youth and families.

What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate extension
• log information
• greet and sign in visitors
• take zones offline and reset the fire system during drills or alarms
• order office supplies
• schedule meetings, room reservations, and recreation trips
• maintain visitor logs
• scan, file, and format documents
• and provide administrative assistance as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to meet program needs.
