The Mobile Phlebotomist role is onsite in the Waco, TX area, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour. The role provides mobile clinical pre-analytical laboratory services to clients and patients. The phlebotomist travels to client facilities, collects and processes ordered specimens, and delivers them promptly while following patient-identification, specimen-handling, and safety procedures. The work supports laboratory testing and patient care across assigned routes.

What you'll do

• Drive to client facilities, typically nursing homes
• collect physician-ordered samples at patients’ bedsides
• identify patients
• collect, label, process, and deliver specimens
• communicate route status and location to the dispatcher
• follow universal precautions and specimen-management procedures
• maintain supplies and work area
• report safety concerns and problems
• maintain required records and certifications.
