Refrigeration Technician – Commercial Food Service

The Refrigeration Technician – Commercial Food Service is an onsite, full-time role in Oak Creek, WI; pay is $30–$45 per hour. Tech24 provides commercial food-service equipment repair, and this position supports commercial kitchen operations by keeping refrigeration and related equipment operating safely and efficiently. The technician diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and installs commercial refrigeration and food-service equipment at customer locations. The role also documents service work, communicates findings to customers, and maintains tools, vehicle, and inventory; after-hours or on-call service rotation is required as needed.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, prep tables, and related systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• install and replace components
• read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• test systems and complete repairs
• maintain service records and work orders
• comply with EPA regulations and safety standards
• communicate findings and recommendations to customers
• maintain vehicle, tools, and inventory
• participate in after-hours or on-call rotation as required.
