Structural Engineer III

What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate design drawings with Project Management, Estimating, and Drafting to produce signed and sealed construction plans
• research and investigate information for design analysis and drawing production
• analyze structures using finite element and classical methods under applicable loads and codes
• develop designs and drawings for structures, slabs, plate and shell structures, scaffold and shoring formwork, and prestressed elements
• prepare and review drawings and visual aids
• review other design staff’s work
• maintain company design sheets and details
• develop programming for prestressed concrete tank and formwork applications
• edit specifications
• prepare or review design scopes, budgets, and assignments
• lead inter-company design presentations.
