What you'll do

• Cut, trim, debone, slice, grind, and portion meats
• operate knives and saw machines safely
• follow specifications for cuts, yields, and presentation
• prepare specialty items and custom orders
• rotate and store products
• assist customers with selections and cutting requests
• follow food-safety and sanitation rules
• clean tools and work areas
• label products
• monitor cooler, freezer, and display-case temperatures
• stock and rotate cases
• inspect deliveries
• minimize shrink through proper handling and storage.
