What you'll do

• Manage assigned vendor relationships
• source components for new product introduction
• lead purchasing and sourcing projects
• document and assess vendor performance
• review assigned SKUs for vendor selection, quality, price, and lead time
• run and review MRP reports, place and expedite purchase orders
• resolve or escalate shortages
• work with quality and production on vendor-related issues
• track vendor KPIs
• lead annual vendor reviews
• pursue cost savings
• manage inventory levels and planning parameters.
