The engineer supports equipment development and production readiness by coordinating specifications, safety assessments, installation checks, and trials with manufacturing facilities, vendors, and global teams. The work helps equipment meet safety, quality, and productivity targets for battery-pack assembly.

What you'll do

• Support battery-pack assembly equipment development
• develop and review equipment specifications
• support machine risk assessments and equipment-safety confirmation
• complete Seibi equipment checks for safety, electrical, and mechanical design requirements
• confirm safety interlocks
• participate in vendor buy-off and production-zone trials
• support equipment adjustments
• collaborate with vendors and manufacturing facilities
• travel to facilities and vendors in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Japan.
