Job overview

The Electrical Construction Administration Specialist position is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with travel of approximately 40–50%. Compensation is $90,000–$130,000 per year. Swanson Rink designs mechanical, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and technology infrastructure for data centers, airports, and other complex buildings. The specialist extends the electrical design team during construction, coordinating project information and site observations so projects are built in accordance with design documents. The role also supports quality control and helps strengthen construction administration practices across the team.

What you'll do

  • Track and close construction submittals and requests for information
  • liaise between contractors and the design team
  • coordinate site visits and report on progress, schedule compliance, and deviations from construction documents
  • peer review design documents, schematics, and specifications
  • mentor junior staff
  • stay current on electrical codes, industry standards, OSHA standards, and project safety requirements.
