What you'll do

• Administers respiratory care, conducts diagnostic procedures, assesses patient appropriately, interprets results accurately, suggests alternative treatment, changes modes of therapy, prioritizes work assignments, works independently, communicates effectively with physicians, patients, and co-workers, documents by exception, communicates pertinent information, teaches patients and significant others, assists physicians, administers medications, receives/interprets telephone and verbal orders, uses patient equipment, reacts calmly and effectively in emergencies, follows infection control policies, delegates appropriately, uses resources efficiently, develops other staff, maintains own competencies, maintains team spirit, assists in interdepartmental service coordination, participates in Performance Improvement and Utilization Review, assumes a role in patient-focused care delivery, assists staff in unit operations coordination, assists in all aspects of care (dietary, housekeeping, infection control, supply and equipment management), attends in-services and meetings, helps provide staff to other areas.
