Health Nutrition and Safety Monitor

Job overview

The Health Nutrition and Safety Monitor role is onsite in New York, NY, and includes monthly home visits for a caseload of 30 families. Pay is $20.33–$21.43 per hour. Cardinal McCloskey Community Services’ mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and people with developmental disabilities. The monitor supports health, nutrition, and safety services for children ages 0–3, coordinating emergency planning and drills and monitoring compliance with applicable regulations and standards across multiple sites.

What you'll do

• Manage multi-hazard emergency planning, preparation, and response
• coordinate emergency plans and drills
• monitor comprehensive health and nutrition services for children ages 0–3
• support compliance with applicable city, state, federal, and organizational requirements
• and conduct monthly home visits for a caseload of 30 families.

Why this role

Requires at least a CDA in Health, Safety, or Nutrition; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience with CACFP within a Family Child Care Program is required; Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.
