This role is critical in the food supply chain, responsible for transporting empty and full trailers between warehouse locations and shuttle yards, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products while building customer relationships.

What you'll do

• Performs required safety checks, including pre/post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
• Reports safety issues and/or repairs.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Ensures all required route paperwork is available.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to schedule.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers.
• Ensures equipment and freight are secured.
• Collects and secures damaged goods and customer returns.
• Unloads equipment, materials, and removes trash.
• Completes daily record of hours of service.
• Performs general housekeeping duties.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Experience

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience. Valid CDL A. Must be 21 years of age. Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years. Pass pre-employment drug test. Pass road test. Valid current DOT Health Card.
