Psychiatry Area Sales Manager - Los Angeles This is an onsite role located in Santa Ana, CA. The salary range is $180,000 - $210,000 annually, with eligibility for a sales incentive target of $52,500. Lundbeck is a global biopharmaceutical company focusing exclusively on brain health. This role is responsible for leading, developing, and managing a diverse, high-performing sales team to achieve sales goals for promoted products within the psychiatry portfolio. The Area Sales Manager will set and lead the development of area strategic direction and tactical sales plans.

What you'll do

• Leading People: Achieve business objectives by coaching Account Managers, establishing a collaborative team culture, leading by example, and recruiting/developing talent.
• Knowing the Business: Guide market system identification, identify strategic relationships, discover and meet customer needs, and ensure Account Managers can craft effective selling messages.
• Managing Execution: Set and maintain product knowledge standards, direct marketing plan execution, analyze sales reports, maintain communication, manage priorities, and assure adherence to standards.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

External Candidates: Minimum of 3+ years sales management experience in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical’s, Biologics or related experience. Internal Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Commercial experience or a minimum of 2 years consistent sales success within Lundbeck.
