Personal Care and Memory Care Aide

Job overview

The Personal Care and Memory Care Aide role is onsite in Collegeville, PA, with shifts of 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Compensation is $19.50–$22.00 per hour. Morningside House of Collegeville is an assisted living and memory care community. The caregiver assists residents with activities of daily living while supporting their quality of life, dignity, independence, and confidentiality. The role contributes to resident well-being through personal care, social and emotional support, documentation, and communication with supervisors.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living
• follow resident schedules set by supervisors
• provide emotional and social support
• document daily assistance
• report resident concerns
• respect residents’ independence, dignity, and confidentiality
• learn emergency equipment and procedures
• attend required training and meetings
• help maintain a safe work environment and follow company policies.
