What you'll do

• Prepare food to consistent quality using recipe cards and production and portion standards
• prepare items ahead without overproducing
• date and rotate food and maintain proper temperatures
• check pars, prepare the line, and report shortages
• store unused food appropriately
• help control food costs and waste
• clean and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
• follow safe-work, protective-equipment, MSDS, and OSHA standards.
