The Nuclear Medicine Technologist role is onsite in Nampa, ID, for a 90-day contract engagement. Compensation is $62.86–$64.86 per hour. The role supports a nuclear medicine department performing diagnostic imaging across cardiac, oncologic, skeletal, and general nuclear applications. The technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, performs diagnostic imaging studies, and operates gamma cameras and SPECT systems. The role contributes to diagnostic quality and patient safety through accurate dose handling, image processing, radiation safety practices, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to orders and protocols
• perform cardiac perfusion, bone, hepatobiliary, renal, thyroid, and other nuclear medicine studies
• operate gamma cameras and SPECT systems
• perform equipment and dose calibrator quality control
• process and transmit images through PACS
• manage radioactive materials, dosimetry, waste records, and contamination response
• coordinate patient preparation and scheduling
• screen for pregnancy and breastfeeding status
• provide radiation precautions and answer patient questions.
