What you'll do
- Conduct nursing assessments and initial treatment plans in the electronic health record
- consult the on-call APRN about medical concerns affecting admission
- review hospital referrals for medical stability and admission criteria
- guide Recovery Support Technicians in vital-sign and screening procedures
- train screening staff on admission body-search procedures
- direct staff regarding seclusion and restraints and complete required documentation
- collaborate with providers on emergency medication needs and administer medications as directed.
