Foreperson

The Foreperson role is onsite in White Cloud, MI. Compensation is $29 per hour. The position supports field crews performing vegetation management work, including tree trimming and removal. The foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies so assigned work is completed safely and according to contract specifications. What you'll do

• Direct crew members and manage equipment
• assign tasks and supervise performance
• plan and execute work safely
• organize assignments for efficiency
• obtain property-owner permission and discuss access and work details
• ensure use of personal protective equipment
• trim or remove trees and apply stump or brush treatment
• load and unload debris or operate a chipper
• direct cleanup
• inspect work against specifications and notify customers when complete
• maintain time, equipment, and material records
• complete truck inspections and job briefings
• restock supplies and report equipment issues
• respond to emergencies and perform storm work as needed.

Why this role

Prior experience in utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Storm restoration travel may be needed.
