Food Service Worker

Job overview

The Food Service Worker position is onsite in Ely, NV, with a schedule of varying days from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $15 per hour. At White Pine CSD, Chartwells K12 serves school meals with the goal of helping students leave the cafeteria happier and healthier.

What you'll do

• Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients
• carry food and equipment safely
• store food according to food-safety and rotation procedures
• clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
• distribute supplies and equipment
• follow recipes and production standards
• serve customers
• relay concerns to a supervisor
• follow service, inventory, cash-control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
