Field Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Field Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Huntington, IN, with regular travel between assigned restaurant locations. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour. The technician supports Polly Management’s Dairy Queen restaurants by maintaining equipment and facilities so locations can operate safely and efficiently. The role diagnoses and repairs restaurant equipment and building systems, performs preventive maintenance, and coordinates service needs with restaurant managers and the Field Supervisor. It helps reduce equipment downtime and maintain reliable restaurant operations.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial restaurant equipment
• perform routine HVAC and refrigeration troubleshooting within training and certification level
• complete general facility repairs
• perform preventive maintenance
• complete service requests and communicate repair status
• document work and parts
• identify work requiring licensed contractors and help coordinate providers
• maintain vehicle, tools, parts, and work areas
• follow safety procedures.
