Weld Machine Operator — Second and Third Shifts

The Weld Machine Operator works onsite in Batesville, IN. Compensation is not specified. The role reports to the Weld Machine Group leader, supervisor, and manager and supports efficient machine operations and part quality. The operator runs and sets up welders and other machines, checks settings, inspects and records part measurements, follows preventive maintenance and work instructions, moves finished parts, maintains accurate work-center entries and rate sheets, and keeps the work area clean. The position also assists with training associates and may require a flexible schedule or overtime based on company needs.

What you'll do

• Operate welders and other machines at management-set rates
• set up jobs and check machine settings
• inspect parts with measurement and testing tools and record results
• move finished parts with a pallet jack
• follow work instructions and Total Preventive Maintenance programs
• maintain accurate Plex work-center status and rate sheets
• assist with associate training
• clean and organize the work area
• follow safety and environmental procedures.
