The People Intern works onsite part-time in Rockville, MD, for $22–$24 per hour, approximately 20–30 hours per week with flexibility for class schedules. REGENXBIO advances gene therapies intended to improve the lives of patients with serious rare and retinal diseases. The intern supports the People team across employee lifecycle administration, recruiting, onboarding, People operations, communications, data, and special projects. The work helps maintain accurate and confidential HR processes and contributes to employee experience initiatives.

What you'll do

• Support employee lifecycle administration in UKG, including new-hire and termination processing under team guidance
• maintain confidential employee files and documentation
• coordinate contractor onboarding and renewals with Legal and Procurement
• assist with job postings, interview coordination, candidate communications, and recruitment files
• coordinate new-hire orientation logistics
• support offboarding administration, HR systems, reporting, data quality, and special projects.
