The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Journeyperson role is onsite in Tacoma, WA. The hiring range is $48–$52 per hour; the full range available over time is $48–$65 per hour. The role supports industrial maintenance, turnaround, and construction work under a foreman. The mechanic maintains and services refinery equipment and piping systems, supporting safe, reliable operations and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The work includes equipment removal and replacement, rigging support, troubleshooting, and other mechanical maintenance activities.

What you'll do

• Prepare job hazard analyses and serve as a designated safety watch
• rig, signal, and flag heavy-construction lifts
• remove and replace exchangers, vessels, pumps, and related equipment
• dismantle and reinstall piping systems
• service vessels, tower internals, fin fans, and coolers
• maintain machinery and equipment
• perform demolition and oxy-fuel cutting
• operate forklifts, extenda booms, and bundle trucks
• may train and supervise apprentices.
