The Cartographer - Foundation Data Specialist role is an onsite position based in Edwardsville, IL, with an annual salary range of $50,700 to $91,650. This role supports the GEOINT Enterprise by providing technical expertise in foundation data production and integration. The role exists to ensure the accuracy and quality of geospatial data used for mapping and charting. The specialist will perform data reviews, develop standard operating procedures, and collaborate with partners to maintain high-quality geospatial intelligence products.

What you'll do

• Provide tradecraft and technical support for Foundation Data production, data integration, and data partnerships.
• Produce and review national and international Foundation Data for map and chart production.
• Analyze and evaluate Foundation Data to ensure coverage, accuracy, currency, completeness, and applicability.
• Participate in technical exchanges with Government and partner personnel.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train team members.
