What you'll do

• Inspect printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies for workmanship, component placement, solder quality, polarity, orientation, and standards compliance
• perform touch-up and rework on surface-mount and through-hole components
• remove and replace components
• hand solder, desolder, and repair circuit boards
• use microscopes and inspection tools to identify defects and verify repairs
• follow engineering instructions and customer requirements
• complete production and traceability records
• promptly communicate quality concerns and recurring defects
• follow IPC guidelines and company quality procedures
• participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
