Wait Staff Associate, Part-Time

The Wait Staff Associate role is onsite at Merion Convent in Merion Station, PA. Pay is $16.50 per hour. The position supports Unidine’s Food & Nutrition Services team and patient dining. The associate delivers meals and floor stock while following diet orders, food-safety procedures, and facility policies. Accurate, timely service and communication with patients and nursing staff help support patient satisfaction and nutrition needs.

What you'll do

• Deliver patient trays accurately and on time
• follow dietary restrictions and food-allergy guidance
• deliver floor stock to unit pantries
• complete required logs
• communicate patient food concerns and nutrition needs to Food & Nutrition Services and Nursing
• follow sanitation, HACCP, infection-control, confidentiality, and safety procedures
• maintain a clean work area.

Why this role

Part-time schedule options are 10:15 a.m.–6:45 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–6:45 p.m., including weekdays and rotating weekends. One year of food-service experience is preferred, but the employer is willing to train.
