Lead Teacher

The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Lake Worth, FL, with compensation of $16–$19 per hour. The role supports The Learning Experience’s early education program and its work with children and families. The position exists to lead classroom learning and care, implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, and help children develop through safe, engaging, age-appropriate activities. It also supports family communication and center goals through collaboration with staff and leadership.

What you'll do

• Plan and prepare a stimulating classroom
• implement and adapt the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to children’s needs
• maintain a safe, nurturing environment
• update parents on progress and milestones
• collaborate with center staff and leadership on retention, enrollment, and engagement
• meet children’s daily care needs, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• encourage communication and conflict resolution
• keep children engaged in developmentally appropriate activities.
